Connecting Agroecology in Nicaragua to NE Ohio

Presentation by Jordan Deskins, an intern with the InterReligious Task Force on Central America and Colombia, and a former intern with Asociación de Trabajadores del Campo (ATC, the Rural Workers Association) in Nicaragua.

Jordan will speak about her experience in Nicaragua with agroecology, anti-imperialism, and community-based agriculture and connect it to agroecology and the local food movement in Northeast Ohio. Following will be a lively discussion on amplifying agroecology and solidarity.
