Guatemala Accompaniment Project (GAP) Coordinator

The GAP Coordinator will work from our Guatemala City office. This new team member will ensure that Guatemalan partner organizations receive effective international accompaniment through the coordination of GAP, a transformative accompanier/fellowship program.

Coordinating GAP will include selection, training, and political education for accompaniers and fellows, who act as organizers to catalyze our U.S. base to take action in the cross-border struggle for justice. The GAP Coordinator will liaise with a network of U.S-based Sponsoring Communities who partner with accompaniers to financially and politically support their work. They will also work in collaboration with NISGUA’s Strategic Planning Committee to evaluate and implement new modalities for accompaniment.
