This spoOoOoky season, treat your little ones and yourself to a fun, Halloween-inspired exploration of yoga and meditation!
Kids' yoga teachers Pearl Chen and Meg Olegario will be leading a Halloween-inspired yoga workshop for kids ages 4-8 and their families. We'd love to have you join us if you have kids yourself, or share this with any people you know with kids!
The kids will learn yoga fundamentals, breathing techniques, and tools for self-regulation in a playful way, using games, stories, and songs. They will be encouraged to practice tools of self-expression and emotional regulation in a safe container while making new friends. Learning these skills from a young age promotes confidence, compassion, and groundedness that they can carry with them as they continue to learn about themselves and the world. Additionally, learning these skills as a family can be a fun and sweet way of co-regulating your nervous systems together. Costumes are encouraged!
Prerequisite: For ages 4-8, some exceptions are allowed (email me at pearl@irtfcleveland.org with any questions). For the best experience, we ask that children are potty trained and able to follow simple instructions with little help.
Date and Time: This workshop will take place on the Sunday after Halloween, November 2nd, from 2-2:45pm. Registration will stay open until 8pm on Halloween, October 31st!
Location: Abide Yoga West, 15810 Detroit Ave., Lakewood 44107
Cost per child
Sliding scale of $15/20/25 per child.
