Mark your calendars! The next Ohio Fair Trade Teach-In & Expo is scheduled for October 1, 2016.
Initiated in 2005, The Teach-In & Expo brings people together from across the state to learn about and become more involved in supporting FAIR TRADE – a model for socially and environmentally conscious consumerism.
Teach-In & Expo 2016 hosted by the Ohio Fair Trade Network and John Carroll University is scheduled for October 1, 2016 at the John Carroll campus in University Heights.

On Sunday March 6th over 500 farmworkers, students, people of faith and consumers came together to lift their voices in a march through downtown Columbus, OH to urge Wendy's to join the Fair Food Program. We were there with a Cleveland group to support the CIW and farmworkers in their fight for their rights.

The InterReligious Task Force, in conjunction with Case Western Reserve University, presents the 16th annual Social Justice Teach-In as a great opportunity for people of all ages to learn about critical human rights issues and practice hands-on skills to organize for change. This annual event attracts 500+ participants, many from area high schools and colleges. The Teach-In will provide participants with information, skills, and resources to support their own social justice programming at their schools and congregations.
